Ten Thousand Thank-You Notes is a project inspired by the end of my college career: four years filled by people who showed me meaning to the word “gratitude.” The premise of the project is simple: Receive a thank-you note, pass a thank-you note on. Pass it on to those who need to hear it the most. Remind those you thank to pass on Ten Thousand Thank-You Notes as well.

Don’t be shy, write ten or twenty. Thank the ones who come to mind, from your high school English teacher to your closest friend. Thank the ones who are not expecting your appreciation today.

Signed, sealed and out of your hands. Doesn’t that feel good? Receiving a thank-you note can brighten a person’s day but writing one can feel even better.

Keep the gratitude flowing! If you received a thank-you note, please pay it forward and thank someone else. Pass on Ten Thousand Thank-You Notes as well.
